Sierra Rutile extends its appreciation to the Crane and Rigging Operation and Maintenance team for their exceptional dedication and technical expertise demonstrated during the recent servicing of our 100-ton crane. Over a period of three to four weeks, the team led by the CEM Heavy Equipment Workshop and supported by Pasico Ghana, carried out a series of complex and high-precision tasks, all underpinned by our commitment to safety. The work involved resealing of the boom cylinder, and the replacement of the boom sliding pieces and holding valve marking the first time these critical procedures have been successfully executed at Sierra Rutile.
This milestone speaks not only to the capabilities of our in-house teams but also to our broader commitment to building and sustaining technical excellence within our operations. We commend the team for completing this intensive assignment safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Well done to all involved.
