As we commemorate Labour Day, Sierra Rutile Limited is proud to have supported the National Labour Conference 2026, held on April 30th and May 1st at the Miatta Conference Centre. With the theme “The Challenges and Opportunities of Decent Work in a Digital Era”, the conference provided a vital platform to discuss the future of work in a rapidly changing world.
Our commitment to promoting **labour standards, gender equality, youth employment**, and **workplace safety** was evident throughout the event. Monica Tembo, SRL’s Chief People Officer, represented us on a panel, sharing insights on how digital transformation can create more inclusive and sustainable workplaces. We were also joined by the SRL Board Chairman, Mr. Kobi Walker, who was participating in the event in his capacity at the current President of the Sierra Leone Employers Federation.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in such meaningful dialogue and contribute to shaping policies that support decent work for all.
